Christmas Card

I'm so excited about my Christmas Card. I pretty much copied the cover idea, but came up with a fold technique that gives it a little Wow! I cut the paper 4 1/4 by 11. Next I scored it at 3 1/2 on one end and 2 1/2 on the other. I folded the ends where they overlapped about a half inch. Next, I adhered the top note piece using dimensionals to the 3 1/2 side. I only put the dimensionals on the far left and middle of the top not. The 2 1/2 inch flap is held securely between the top note piece and the 31/2 piece. The whole thing does not use any extra paper and still fits into the medium envelope! Yea! I'm planning to put our family photo in the center section and write on the back of the top note.

Christmas Flip Book!

I make a Christmas Album of some sort every year. When I saw this idea at the regional convention in San Antonio, I just had to make it. It didn't take more than 2 hrs. and that was with me trying to figure out each step. It is made using the Simply Scrappin Kit "I Wish"by Stampin Up! The cost of the kit was 19.95 and I downloaded the instructions from the internet. I was so pleased with the way it turned out! I have a lot of paper and stickers left from the kit that I'm going to use to make tags with.

Halloween Night

I just had to include a quick picture of the girls trick or treating in the neighborhood. After a successful halloween party at our house, the girls and about 10 kids went trick or treating together through the neighborhood. It was fun to see the looks on the faces of those opening the door to 12 kids holding out their treat bags. The baby was a flower...she "wilted" before the trick or treating!
